Ann Rawle emigrated to US with brother Matthew Rawle, and possibly sister Bridget before 1843. May have been from Co. Cavan. Ann married Patrick Kelly in 1843 in Cincinnati. They had 5 or 6 children; she died before 1860.(not listed with him in 1860 census). Matthew Rawle was proprietor of an inn/bar on the Cincinnati riverfront (Cincinnati city directories). He married the daughter of a riverboat captain, and Matthew and wife went west to seek fortune in gold rush days; No further history of Matthew. Would appreciate any info on these Rawles, either Irish background or history in the US.
