Rev. Charles W Raver died in 1929 according to the index to his Civil War Pension record (Co. I, 19th US Infantry). His wife, my first cousin many times removed, was Juilia "July" Carolina Carrolton (Carlton). She died in 1935 according to the same source. They married probably in Arkansas on 12 Oct.,1867(according to the Avery King Family Bible) as this is where their first two children were born. Julia's mother was Elizabeth Ellis Carrolton King who is in Searcy County Arkansas 1850-1880. Her father was William Carlton who is listed in the 1840 Searcy County Census and last found in the Searcy County Tax List in 1843. In 1850 she is living with Daniel and Nancy Ellis Lane with her mother and grandmother Mary Hunt Ellis. I have more on the Ellis and Hunt lines if you are interested. Unfortunately I have no other information on any of the Raver family other than Charles and his wife and children and that is limited to census records.
