I have a court document which appears to settle a child custody hearing. This document is dated 1899. I have some reason to believe that Myrtle Kohl was less than three years old at that time. Myrtle's mother was Katherine Kohl who was married to Peter Kohl. I have a census report which shows Katherine Kohl as an inmate of a mental ward. This is where I lose contact with where my grandmother Myrtle Kohl wound up. I believe she had at least one sister, maybe more. The one I know about was called "Babe" This sister eventually married Jack Cosgrove, special effects director for the movie "Gone With The Wind." I have a picture Peter Kohl done by O. J. Doan of Brookfield Missouri. One photo of the Raver family has a note on the back which names Myrtle Kohl, who came to be Taylor.
Another photo has these names on the back. Aunt Louise, Aunt Mollie, Jack, Uncle Robert, Uncle George, Aunt Marguerite, Babe and Jack Taylor.
I hope this helps and that you may have some info for me.
