First, let me say I am not really questioning anyones research, but I have collected Raver data from various sources which
I picked up somewhere that Harley was the son of Francis "Frank" Raver b 1877 who married an Elizabeth.I have Harley b abt 1883 married to Maggie/Ruth - I found him 1910 census with wife Maggie.I found a Frank age 7 in 1880 with Noah & Sarah E Raver, puts his b @ 1883.In 1900 Noah has a son Harry b Oct 1882.So I could have picked up mis-information.Help me get it correct, please.
I am working on similar line to Gloria - I haveFrederick Raver/Catherine Nicodemus, William Raver m Barbara Bowers, Isaac Raver m Cynthia Runkle - from there I split to Elza Raver m Nancy Minerva Brixner, Calvin Raver m Sylvia Schirm, Paul Edwin Raver b 1921 m Beatrice Bevins - this is the Paul Raver who was Fire Chief in Groveport, Madison Twp. OH and died last year.My step-dad is Paul Jr. mar2 Doris Raver - Doris is my mom.I'm the one into genealogy & started trying to connect the Kentucky Bowlings on his Bevins line to those of my husband, and ended up on the Raver/Schirm/Brixner side as well (true addict, you understand)...Paul has come to enjoy studying the reports I give him on my work, and is probably cousin to 9/10 of the Ravers (and other families) in Fairfield & Franklin Co.I'm sure he sends his regards...
Anyway, I would appreciate the opportunity to share information with each of you - I've been gandering through all the Raver census records in Franklin, Fairfield & Athens county and am becoming quite familiar with the Raver ancestors
