Hi, Chris!
I was delighted to see your posting, but it's been a long time since the date of posting. Are you still there?
My husband is descended from Henry Dunlap and Lillie Ravan of northern Greenville County, S.C. They moved to Hendersonville, N.C. and I have information on some of their descendants. Would love to know more about the Ravan side of the family. Someone up in the Tigerville area told me the name is pronounced raVANN. Is that correct everywhere or just in that area? I had heard that Lillie was closely related (possibly a sister) to Benjamin Ravan. Is Benjamin the same as or related to B.B. Ravan? Do you know the relationships or where the information can be found?
I hope you're still at this address.
Happy hunting!
