My gg aunt is Emma Dahlenburg. I figured out that it was Henrietta Ratzlaff. She was married to Sanford Ratzlaff. Henrietta was one of Emma's sisters. Emma's sister Ida was my great grandmother. Emma was my favorite aunt. I was very close to her.

My 4th cousin, Charlie Bartley died in 1984. I lived with him and his wife when I was 19 years old. I still keep in touch with his wife, Ruby. He used to tell me stories all the time about Lake Andes. At the time I was young and never paid attention. I could kick myself.

I tried to look up information on the Bartleys but couldn't find any.

I also have a picture of Paul Dahlenburg. He came to visit my aunt Emma sometime in the 1970s. He is a nephew, but I don't know who his mother is.

I found a couple of pictures of Sanford and Etta that we took when we went to Wagner. I was about 12 or 13 at the time.

I have some pictures taken some time around 1929. One picture has 4 women and 2 men. The other picture has 5 women. The same 4 as in the other picture, plus one extra woman.

My uncle and I are trying to recreate our family history. Any information you have would be great.

I just got goosebumps when I read your note. I can't believe I found someone that I am related to.

Thank you for your help!
