On 1820 census, Stewart Co. TN was James Ratru, age 45 or over. My ggrandmother, Mary Ratteree, b. abt 1800 SC, was married in Stewart Co abt 1819 to David Brunson. They were in Stewart 1820, and Henry Co 1830.
Census of 1800 Chester Co. SC was James
Rattoree, age 26 to 45. Believe this James was ancestor of all the Ratterees in North
Central TN. Was also on Stewart tax list in
1810.
