My wife's ancestor was James Rattray who died on 27th Feb 1866 aged 102, and his wife Marjory McIntosh died 16 July 1858. I am particularly interested in their descendent Isabella Rattray who married David McKay on 12 November 1865 and I believe he was Irish. They are my wife's great grand parents.
I also believe that the Rattrays founded the jewellery store in Dundee which is still there.
Any help.
