Looking for James CHRISTAKY 1919 Meuse, France
Posted by: MC (ID *****1988) Date: April 02, 2002 at 01:56:13

I found a picture where I can see John Christaky (the brother of my ancestor James Christaky). He wrote to James when he was in the 355th Infantry Rgt - 89th Div.
So :
-James Christaky was born on 5 march 1892 in New-York and was bugler in the 164th Infantry Rgt (should be 82d Infantry Brigade - 41st Division "Sunset" Division) - His Rgt was at Gondredourt-le-Château, Meuse, France on April 1919
-John Christaky was soldier in the 355th Infantry Rgt 89th Div
Where and to who can I write to obtain informations (such as enrollment cards, military service extracts...) of these two brothers.

Please help me if you can - any information should be helpful.
Thank you
