I am researching my connection to the Rathburn family line and am in need of some guidance about where to go for some source documents. Susanna Rathburn d/o Joseph Rathburn and Olive Pierson (m 23 Jul 1787) married Thomas Collins. I have a copy of their wedding document from Cuyahoga County, Ohio. However, I am unable to document lineage of Susanna Rathburn to Joseph and Olive. All of the secondary sources say their are the parents.

Susanna's father Joseph Rathburn was descended from Jonathan Rathburn and Susannah Barber. Susannah Barber is documented by the Mayflower Society as a Mayflower descendant and her marriage to Jonathan Rathburn is documented. My proof of lineage for Susannah so far has been census records etc.

Any advice as to where I might go and obtain copies of original source documents?
