Carolyn Sue (Obenour) Rathbun Obit
GILBERT, Ariz. ó Carolyn Sue (Obenour) Rathbun of Gilbert, Ariz., went to be with the Lord suddenly on Jan. 25, 2008.
Sue was born in Adrian, Mich., on Aug. 2, 1944, but lived much of her childhood in California and Arizona. Sue is survived by her husband, Michael Rathbun, and children, Todd (Dianne) Rathbun and Stephanie Esterline. She has three grandchildren, Tanzie and Elizabeth Rathbun and Zachery (Zach) Esterline. She is also survived by her siblings, Donna (Jim) Barhite, Joann (Jerry) French, Rick (Jodie) Obenour and Phil (Debby) Obenour. Sue is also survived by Michaelís sisters, Jaimee (Bill) Davis and Jermee Emerson and their father, Keith, of Weston, Mich. Her parents, Rolland and Thelma Obenour, and mother-in-law, Betty Rathbun, preceeded her in death.
Sue's sweet, loving and giving spirit shall be greatly missed by her many relatives and friends. There was a memorial service held on Tuesday, Jan. 29, at the Falconer Funeral Home in Gilbert, Ariz.
