Does anyone have the wording on the memorial marker for Capt. Wait Rathbone that was erected at his grave in 1896 by John V. Rathbone? It begins:
In Memoriam
Capt. Wait Rathbone, born in the town of Stoning, Conn.,
August 18, 1744. Died at the Home of his son, Wm. P. Rathbone
I can't read the rest of it in the picture I have.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
