Rick: To locate some info on the Rath Meat Packing Co. look in Who,s Who in America (your library) . President was John Rath. It was sold & I want to say Wilson Meat Packing bought it but don,t hold me to that. John was not my Rath line so I did,nt pursue the rresearch.
I have George Rath from Wurttenberg( Black Forrest area) of Germany. Who cam here about 1845 and settled in Philadelphia. He m. there about 1851 a Mary A. So far I cannot find their marriage record. His youngest da. is my grandmother,Margaret Rath Parr. Mary
