Married Margaret (unknown surname) and had the following children: Unknown Ratcliffe (1855), Annie G. Ratcliffe (1872, Fenton, Stafford). The 'Unknown' Ratcliffe here married a 'Steele' and had a daughter Elizabeth Steele in 1880. Lived at 9 Raglan Street, Stoke Upon Trent, Stafford, England in 1881.

Lived at: 73 Mayer Street, Stoke Upon Trent, Stafford, England in 1881.
