James Ratcliffe Born: about 1802; Occupation: Accountant (Wife: Mary, born about 1797). Lived at East View Place in 1851 (now Ringland Close I think).

Children of James and Mary:

Joseph Ratcliffe - Born: about 1829 at Hanley, Staffordshire, England. Occupation: Pottery Painter. Married Margaret (unknown surname) and had the following children: Unknown Ratcliffe (1855), Annie G. Ratcliffe (1872, Fenton, Stafford). The 'Unknown' Ratcliffe here married a 'Steele' and had a daughter Elizabeth Steele in 1880. Lived at 9 Raglan Street, Stoke Upon Trent, Stafford, England in 1881.

Ann Ratcliffe - Born: 1830 at Hanley, Staffordshire, England. Occupation: China Burnisher

James Ratcliffe - Born: 1832 at Hanley, Staffordshire, England.

John Ratcliffe Born: 1832 at Hanley, Staffordshire, England (Occupation: Pottery Printer); Transported to Van Diemen's Land 1852; Died: 1888 at Launceston, Tasmania.

Mary Ratcliffe - Born: about 1836 at Hanley, Staffordshire, England. Occupation: Pottery Burnisher.

Susanna Ratcliffe - Born: about 1838 at Hanley, Staffordshire, England. Occupation: Pottery Painter.

Elisheba (or Elishaba?) Ratcliffe - Born: about 1842 at Hanley, Staffordshire, England, Married Joseph Weatherby, and had the following Children: James Weatherby (1861) Mary Ellen Weatherby (1865), Thomas Weatherby (1868), John Weatherby (1870), Annie Weatherby (1873), Florence Weatherby (1877), Joseph Weatherby (1878), Martha Weatherby (1880). Lived at: 73 Mayer Street, Stoke Upon Trent, Stafford, England in 1881.
