Yes, that is true. The matches were a big surprise to everybody as they connected lines that were not previously thought to be linked. The Richard Ratcliff line from Maryland and the Richard Ratcliffe line from Isle of Wight County, Virginia,as well as the James Radcliffe line from Pennsylvania, we now know, ultimately came from the same ancestor. I think more surprises are in store for us. I hope that at least one individual from all the major lines will be tested.

I am particularly interested in the Richard Ratcliffe line from Fairfax County, VA and the Ratcliffes from Tazewell County, VA. I also wish we could find a descendant from the Sir John Ratcliffe line from Jamestown, 1609.
