Hi:To the best of my knowledge they were married in Manchester Cathedral in Manchester.Because my information is from extended family members and a lot of it incorrect, I am not sure exactly which town. They were married in 1805 and had the one son in 1806.Both William and Matilda were born in the 1780's and I have many year dates depending on whose information I look at.I would appreciate any help you can give me.Most of the Ratcliffe families that I am related to did have large families which is why I am inclined to believe that one or the other of them died shortly after the birth of their son.I lean towards it being Matilda Curtis Ratcliffe.Just a hunch....nothing to base it on.
Thanks for any help you might be able to give me.
Lois
