Hi Mary,

I happened to notice a typo in my previous message to you in this thread. I typed, "A natural assumption would be that he [William Ratcliffe, son of Richard Ratcliffe of Talbot] moved away, but there is little to indicate that he did and if the prevailing thought is correct that his widow married John James by 1832 in Talbot, that would seem to cast some doubt on his having moved." THIS SHOULD READ "1732," not "1832!" A bit "red in the face," --- Jay
