A Genealogy of the Chadick and Chaddick Family Lines of the United States - Page 52
by William D. Chadick - 1979 - 573 pages

1805 ASA CHADDOCKS- Oglethorpe County, Capt Roland Hudson's District. 99 acres
on Sandy Creek, land granted SEYMOUR CATCHINGS, adjacent WILLIAM RATCHFORD

gives another possible lead.

This is likely to be William Ratchford son of William and Mary Carroll Ratchford but more research is necessary. Despite the 1805 in the search result, 1801 is what is written on the page!
