Steve: Yes, send me a scan of your picture and I will compare it to mine. I wonder, how did you get to the conclusion about the date of the picture? The luthier who is reconditioning my harp guitar told me that the frets were the kind used in 1914 and after, so the guitar could not be older than that. However, my Aunt said that the picture had to be before 1911 because 1911 or 1912 was when my grandfather lost his fingers in the Lumber Company accident!
Oh, I just got this email from the Canton A F of M Local 111.
I am secretary of AFM Local 111 in Canton, OH.
The information you have requested is to old and there is no records in this office. I have checked with AFM in New York and their records do not go back that far.
I am sorry our records are no help.

So there goes that lead. I am going to go to the Massillon Museum soon as I am off on dissability for a while, and I will check what they might have.
My e-mail is "firstname.lastname@example.org"
It would be nice if we could somehow find out who the men were in the orchestra and pray that one of them was a stickler for details and kept very good records with details of who played and what years and where they played and somehow the records/diary ended up in someones private collection that they are donating to the Massillon Historical Society.
(How's that for a sentence?)
