I am not even sure if this is the person you are wanting as the spelling of Ane, Anna are different. It says his father was Niels born in 1848. Hans and Anna had more than 2 sons. I hope this helps.
I also have an obit that I can share with you. It lists one of Hans' son who died.
WOODLAND, AROOSTOOK COUNTY - Harold P. Rasmussen, 97, died unexpectedly Nov. 28, 2005, at his Woodland residence. He was born July 13, 1908 in Caswell, the son of Hans H. and Anna M. (Laursen) Rasmussen. The family moved to a farm in Perham, where Harold helped his Dad. At age 16, he left home and went to work for the B & A Railroad, where he became fireman and finally a steam locomotive engineer. He had to leave railroading due to hearing problems and in 1941, moved back to the farm in Perham and farmed until the late 50's. He then worked at Gould and Smith, Inc. of Presque Isle where he retired from the machine shop as the department foreman. Harold built a new home in Woodland and spent many hours in his basement machine shop, building several working steam locomotives, engines, a loghauler and other mechanical items. He was a very active member of the First Baptist Church of Woodland, where he served as a deacon, a trustee and an usher. In September of 2004, Herbert Ketch of the Woodland historical society presented Harold with the Boston Post Cane recognizing him as Woodland 's oldest citizen. Harold is survived by one son, Ernest Rasmussen and his wife, Edna, of Spring Lake, N.C.; one sister, Mable Tarr of Caribou; one granddaughter, Tina Rasmussen Kivett of Spring Lake, N.C.; many nieces, nephews and cousins. For the past several years Harold was looked after by a very caring nephew, Dwight Stickles and his wife, Liz, of Caribou. Harold was predeceased by three wives, Marian Curless Rasmussen, who died in 1982, Mabel Nye Gray Rasmussen, who died in 1995 and Bertha Hede Olson Rasmussen, who died in 2001; four brothers, Richard Rasmussen, Martin Rasmussen, Winton Rasmussen, and Carl Rasmussen; one sister, Evelyn Rasmussen Stickles. A celebration of his life will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at the First Baptist Church of Woodland with Harold's niece, Mary Lou Brown officiating. Spring interment will be at Woodland Cemetery . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Woodland memorial fund, care of Mrs. Janet Ketch, 416 Colby Siding Rd. , Woodland , ME 04736.
