My grandfather was Mordechai(Max) Raskin born in NY,NY May 1917. His father Aryeh Leib Raskin was from Snovsks or snuffs, Ukraine near Kiev. He came to New York in the early 1900's with his brother whom eventually went back to Snovsk to claim the arusha(estate) Aryeh Leib's wife was Itte Oberman. They came to NY in early 1900's and had 4 children 3 in NY and one in Cleveland, Ohio. ( Molly, Harry, Max and Eve) Eve Phinick is still alive and in Cleveland,Ohio she is my Great-aunt. Aryeh Leib's parents were Hershel Tzvi and Tova Leiba Raskin from Snuffs(snovsks) Max married Florence Fetterman(both deceased)-my grandparents of blessed memory. They had 3 children My father Stanley Louis Raskin, Jules Raskin, and Joan Beth Raskin( all living in Cleveland) The only one with kids is my father Stan Raskin- myself(Lori) and a brother David.

Is there a chance we are related?
Lori Raskin
