Must it be "To Each His Own?"
It occurred to me some tme ago that each ancestor hunter is going his/her own way. Each with a relevant goal.I am concerned primarily with finding proof that Maria Ann Racey, 1803-1866, is a daughter of Luke & Elizabeth.Arlene, a Hellyer descendant, a long time ancestor hunter, provided me with an extraordinary amount of data which has stood the test of time.Over the years a few ancestor hunters have joined to follow an agreed upon goal.Arlene was one.Stan, seeking the identity of Davenport Racey, was another.Pat, seeking proof that Isabel Racey, the later wife of David Orndorff, was a daughter of Luke & Elizabeth, was another. I was another; my goal to identifyMaria Ann's parents.
Who seeks to identify James Racey, one of three men involved with the 5 year Merchant Mill venture of 1822?Who seeks to prove that Joseph Racey, 1799-1855, the husband of Hattie Phoebe Green, is a son of Luke & Elizabeth?Who seeks proof that Elizabeth's surname is "Aiken?"Who is Sarah _______ Racey, the mother of John Racey mentioned in her WILL of (circa) 1819?Who is John's father?
Respond, if you will!
