James Calvin Whisenant married Elizabeth Gladden/Gladdin. May have lived Iredell or Rowan Co., NC.

1). Fannie Isabelle Whisenant m. James Frank Vincent of Etowah Co., Ala.
2 known ch.:
A) Isabelle "Mae" Vincent b. 6/26/1893 m. Robert Lonnie Rary of Rowan Co., Woodleaf, NC, son of Andrew Jackson and "Cassania" Rary, who had 6 known children. "Mae" & R.L. had 7 children:
1. James Andrew Rary b. 1914
2. Azalee Katherine Rary b. 1916
3. R.L.Rary, Jr. b. 1920
4. John Preston Rary b. 1921
5. Mary Ruth Rary b. 1924
6. Worth Forrest Rary
7. Thomas Richard Rary
This family lived around Salisbury, NC, but when R.L.,Sr. died in 1932, "Mae" and children went back to Etowah Co., Ala. where they remained.
During the Civil War, Andrew Jackson Rary and some of his brothers fought - 2 or 3 of the Rary sons mever returned to NC, but the family was never notified that they had died - and it is thought that they stayed in Ga. and probably lived around Atlanta, Ga., there are Rary families now.
B) Homer Vincent b. 11/1/1895 d. 4/1950 in California.
2). Sarah Ida Whisenant b. 12/29/1873 m. John Eller (who had a white beard and peg-leg when he died).
