Hiya all.

We have two volumes of H G Wells " The Outline of History" 1919 Library version)for sale in an auction on 04 09 12. They are annotated throughout, and signed, by H G W. The books were owned by my wife's grandfather, Mr Owen Bulmer Howell, who knew H G W and conversed with him on many issues. They were both members of the Fabian Society. The Univ of Illinois Urbana Champagne has an example of the correspondence between them in their H G Wells archives. Checkout my website presenting the volumes on www.theoutlineofhistory.co.uk. It's great research material, with many of the annotations being photographed and presented there.

If you wish to buy, you can approach the owners family directly, or get the details on the auction from the site.

Hoping to here from you...

Yours

R N Gutsell
