About 40 years ago I saw an old book named something like "The Catretts of Alabama" or Catretts of Pike County. This book was in Texas at the time. I have no clue how it got there. And of course we didn't have a chance to look at it very long. It looked quite old 40 years ago! It was in a Genealogical Library, but they no longer have it.
Any clues what it was or where I could find one?
