Does anyone have "The Crazy Horse Surrender Ledger"
by: Thomas R. Buecker
pub: Nebraska State Historical; 1994
ISBN: 0933-30701-2

I wish to know exactly how William Garnett (1855-1929) is listed with his mother (need her name), a Sioux of the "Melt Band." William was the only child of Major Richard Brooke Garnett, Commandant of Fort Laramie. During the Civil War, Maj. Garnett moved up the confederate ranks to Brig. Gen. and was killed in Pickett's charge at Gettysburg.

Thanks so much,
Sue Garnett
