Mr. Rappleyea Dies At Home
Henry H. Rappleyea, 70, a resident of Windham for the past 45 years, died on Jan. 5 at his home. He was born in Prattsville on Nov. 30, 1892, the son of Isaac and Jennie Andrus Rappleyea.
The funeral was conducted Monday at 1:30 at the Decker funeral home, Windham. Rev. Roger Riley of the Windham Methodist church officiated with interment following in Pleasant Valley cemetery.*
He is survived by his wife, the former Florence Marquoit; two sons, Robert H. of Peekskill and L. Karl of Manchester, Conn.; two daughters, Vesta L. Zeppeiri of Scotia and Helen M. McCall of Albany; a sister, Mrs. Clarence Richard [Rickard] of Prattsville; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
