Greetings Shelly,
These are the same folks I was reading about.The Rappleyea name first came to my attention in the Plainfield cemetary..Plainfield township..Kent Co. records.I was looking for Mary Bain Wilson Evans.I found her in a Rappleyea plot..or so it first seemed..Evans bought the plot..but they also have it listed as Rappleyea being the owner? I thought what's up with that? there might be a connection..I have a picture with an Uncle Samuel Vanetten & Dad Evans. I thought if a Rappleyea m. an Evans..Vanetten..or Wilson..that would make them relatives..the Bain & McMillan names are also involved.. through the Wilson's. I was trying to find what I thought was a logical reason for her being there in that paticular plot. I know these folks were all in the same area at the same time..if you look through this cemetary listings..both lists..it might make sense. I'm not sure what the connection is..but it strikes me as odd that she would be there. I thought I would ask and see if anyone was familiar with any of this. Thank-you. Mary
