Hello,
I inherited a family tree which stops at the marriage of Laurentius Rapp (I assume the German was 'Lorenz'/'Lorentz' etc) to Maria Eva Voltz on 27 Jan. 1755 in Bietigheim, Baden, Germany. Their son was Laurentius ('Lorenz' again?) Rapp (31 May 1767-16 Jul. 1814), married to Maria Christina Mokert (19 Oct. 1766-3 May 1837) on 12 Jan. 1789. All of the people above were Catholics from Bietigheim in Baden.
I found a marriage record online which lists Laurentius' father's name (also Laurentius) and Maria Eva's father's name (Adam Voltz), both neither Rapp nor Voltz's mother's names are recorded.
I have not had success tracing the Rapp family back any further than this marriage. Does anyone have any suggestions? Your help is much appreciated. Thank You.
