Jackie, John L. Rapp was the son of Enos and Mary Rapp. Both Enos and Mary were born in Germany. Enos was born abt 1804 in the Baden district of Germany. He married his first wife in Pennsylvania. They had three children, Frances (m), Mary M. and Charles W. His first wife died, and he married Mary ?. Mary was born abt 1825 in Hessen-Casel, Germany. The following children of Enos and Mary were born in Franklin, Franklin, Ohio. Jacob, 1844, Joseph, 1847, John L. 1849, Magdalene, 1848. The family moved to Morgan County, Missouri about 1850. Three more children were born in Morgan County, Missouri - Elizabeth, 1852, Martha A., 1854 and Sarah J., 1859. I think the family moved back to Ohio between 1860 and 1870. I could not find Enos after 1860. The only children I have found is Charles W, Jacob and John L.
