Hi Karen,
Thanks so much for responding to the Rapp line. I have my great grandfather's death certificate and it is out of Sidalia, Pettis County, MO. It said his birth was 18 Oct. 1849 in Germany. I also found out that he came from Germany when he was 8 years old, but I have not been able to find him at 8 on any boat.
I work for our school district and so when I am off during the summer I hunt and peck away at my history. My parents have been gone for almost six years and oh how I wish I had more information on the Rapp side.
I don't know if this is of much help, but I would love to stay in contact with you and share any information that we might come upon.
