Good morning Carl.
I enjoyed reading your Rapp posting this morning. My great grandfather and grandmother were Carl and Josephine (Dummal) Rapp. Josephine came to the United States from Germany approximately 1883/1884 with two sons, Charlie and Joseph. My grandfather, Willliam Ferdinand Rapp, was born in the United States a few months after they arrived. Since that time, information concerning Carl Rapp has become "non-existant"!
I have a condolence letter sent to my grandfather at the death of his mother, Josephine, from her sister living in Konstanz Germany. The sister's married name was Wilhelm.
I have no idea how to trace Carl and Josephine in Germany. Do any of these names or any of this information sound familiar to you? I would appreciate any help you might be able to give me.
Thank you so much.
Frieda Schutte
