Rapp in NW Ohio - Fremont/Sandusky

Searching for info on my gg-grandmother, Barbara C. Rapp - she was born May 19, 1842, in Wurttemburg, Germany; and orphaned when she was 13 in Fremont, Ohio (Sandusky County) - appointed guardian Friedrich Zierle. Her deceased mother's name was Magdalena Rapp, also born in Germany. Barbara was married on September 9, 1860, to Joseph Youngel, in Sandusky, OH (might be Sandusky County - from LDS site) - they had a son on July 4, 1861. Joseph Youngel (b. 1836) enlisted in the Ohio Volunteer Infantry and was injured on April 6, 1862, at the Battle of Shiloh. He died on April 16, 1862, in Cincinnati, probably trying to get back home to his wife and infant son. Barbara then married John Slaughter in July of 1863, and had four daughters. She died sometime between June and December of 1870, after giving birth to my great-grandmother and her twin sister, Laura and Dora. After Barbara's death, John seems to have disappeared and the children given to different families to raise. If someone has a Barbara Rapp/Youngel/Slaughter in their line and can't find out what happened to her, here she is! I'd love to hear about the rest of her lineage..
