To Whom It May Concern:
This is to share with you that James Higson Ransom (1812-1868)is buried in Row 9 of the Seaney Cemetery of Crawford County, Illinois, north of Flat Rock. He was married to Nancy Duncan (1811-1854) and after her death he was married to Matilda Malone, the widow of Samuel Caughey. He died on July 5, 1868, there, and Matilda lived until 1901.
