Mrs. Anna Ransley (nee?) in Northern Liberty, Philadelphia, PA for 1850 census
Widow Anna Ransley, age 32, was counted in Philadelphia (Northern Lights,3rd ward) in 1850 with a 13-year-old son John Ransley.John fought in the Civil War in the 19th Pennsylvania Cavalry (180 Volunteers). I think that means he was wounded and doing light duty.
Anna remarried in Michigan to a William Perry in 1872. John Ransley was in their household in the 1880 census. I would like to find Anna's maiden name and her first husband's name.
