Norman Hurlburt (ca. MA 1776-1820) m. RANSFORD
We have a family tradition that Norman HURLBURT (1776-1820) married a Pearly (or Lovina) RANSFORD (or RAYNESFORD) ca. 1807 somewhere near Sheffield, MA.There were many Puritan RANSFORDS living in Berkshire Co., MA during and after the Revolution. Many of these married ADAMS decendants who shared a common ancestry with John Adams (2nd President). Many were also loyalists and they left for Canada. In any event, RANSFORD has become a delightfully rare name.I am hoping a descendant has preserved a RANSFORD bible record from this period which lists a HURLBURT spouse.I also have many Ransford records and contacts if anyone is interested.Cheers,AFK
