Mrs. Elizabeth (________) Ransdell, b. ca 1812 NC, apparent widow, lived with Stephen & Rebecca Cocke, ages 37 and 35, respectively, in 1850, Montgomery Co., TN.
Scattered elsewhere in Montgomery County in 1850 were:
John E. Ransdell (b. ca 1834Tn); m. 1866 Margaret E. Anderson, and had at least 6 children between 1870 and 1880;
William Ransdell (b. ca 1836TN), living 1850 with George J. McCauley, 52 and family, at age 14; and
Mary E. Ransell (b. ca 1838, TN), m. 1855 Montgomery Co., TN, M. A. Myers. She was living with Ruful L. King 26 and family in 1850, at age 12.
These people lived near Hickory Point, eastern Montgomery Co., TN. Myers family members moved to Ballard Co., KY. R these some of the Ballard Co., KY Ransdells?
