Earl Eugene Ranney was bordn July 5, 1876 in Hamburg, Iowa. He married Edith Estelle Orr on November 16, 1899 in Syracuse, NY. Edith was born July 19, 1879 in Wappinger's Falls, NY, the daughter of Charls Henry Orr and Georgianna Burr. They had 3 children: Dugene Earl born Sept. 24, 1901,
Doris Edith, born Nove. 4, 1902 and Georgiana Grace, born April 4, 1906
