I am having difficulties. I show the following info- and some dates don't fit. Adam Rankin (1755-1827) and wife, Martha McPheeters (1763-1836) are said to have the following children: Alexander (1774-1822), Samuel (1784-1842), Jane (1788-1815), Adam, Jr.(1791-1852), William (1796-1801), Rhoda Craig (1799-1799), Jeremiah (1800-1870, John Mason (1805-?). My concern is for Alexander's dates when viewed against his mother's birth year. Can someone help me figure this out? and provide his place of birth? (some data reflects Montgomery Co., PA for several of the children and that does seem to be correct. There is no record according to that County's historical society).
