I have just recieved info from a distant relative confirming my suspitions that Johnnie Rankin is a cousin. Johnnie's mother Mary Emaly Pyland married a Butler Rankin (also spelled Rakin). Johnnie has three sisters Nannie, Addie and Bell and a brother named Sam. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated.
