William Randolph is one of the names that I've been looking at while I've been trying to search information for a Jennie (Jane) Randolph born about 1822 in Burke County, North Carolina and supposedly died in Old Fort, McDowell County, North Carolina. She is my gg-grandmother and I'm wondering if a William Randolph is her father? I've narrowed it down to four different Randolph's who lived in Mitchell or Yancey counties in North Carolina. Is this where your William Randolph is from? Do you have any information on a Jennie (Jane) Randolph who married Joshua Jackson Stevens (Stephens) around 1849? They lived several years in Mitchell County, NC.
