TN by Michael Herrell of 3409 I'm going to stir up the pot even more. There was a Peyton Randolph b. 1738 who married Lucy Harrison. They also had a son Peyton Randolph who married Anne Innis. There were several marriages between Randolphs and Peytons. They were neighbors for quite some time, and Thomas Jefferson mentions Peytons in his memoirs. As you are probably aware Thomas Jefferson's mother was Jane Randolph. A Sarah Randolph married Valentine Peyton b. abt. 1680. There's a good possibility that your Peyton Randolph descends from this branch of the Randolph/Peyton Family. Notify Administrator about this message?
