I would appreciate any help that you can send my way. I am not sure but it is possible that my ggrandparents-Sam Randles and Lottie Kellerman (James' Mom)were not married. I can not find a birth certificate for my grandfather for anywhere in TX, but that was where we were always told he was born and it was in all the paper work we have for him. On a marriage certificate for James we found Sam Randles listed as father (no date for Sam only TX listed as state). Please let me know if you find anything.....By the way we were also told that the Randles family was part French and Indian-it is obvious from pictures of my grandfather because he is darker skinned-Lottie(ggrandmother) was lighter skinned.
