Does anyone know the parents of Ignazio RANDAZZO, (b.c.1887, Palermo), came to US (c.1910 per 1930 census) & settled in New Orleans. He married (1913, New Orleans) to Maria Grazia MANDALA (b.c.1896 Italy), and is on the 1930 census in New Orleans with wife and children: Angelina, Frank, Dominick, Josephine, Rosalie, Mary (all kids born Louisiana).
Following present possibilities, but problems & conflicts as well … (does anyone know for sure?)
I found a Franco RANDAZZO (b.1843) and son Ignazio (b.1887) sailing from Palermo and arriving New Orleans in 1903.
There was a Frank RANDAZZO, (b.c.1850 Italy, to US 1904) wife, Angelena (b.c.1855, Italy, to US 1904) & below children, were on 1910 census in New Orleans:
Nacia (b.c.1887 Italy to US 1904) Ignazio?
Josie (b.c.1885 Italy to US 1905) Giuseppina?
Katie (b.c.1892 Italy to US 1905) Catarina?
I also found an Angela CINA (b.1847, res. Palermo), who arrived in New Orleans 1904 from Palermo, with passage paid by husband, and going to join husband, Francesco RANDAZZO. With her were Giuseppa RANDAZZO (b.c.1885), Caterina RANDAZZO (b.c.1891), and Gaetana RANDAZZO (b.c.1880), with fare paid by same person, and also a Js. PRESTIGIACOMA? (b.c.1880), son-in-law of Francesco) traveling with them. All are "bracketed" as traveling together on manifest.
HOWEVER, I also found a Nicasio RANDAZZO, (b.1887), sailing from Palermo to New Orleans 1910, going to join __?__ RANDAZZO in Donaldsonville, Louisiana.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jane
