I have read several threads on this forum about the family of William Rand of Isle of Wight, Virginia (born in England, supposedly in Kent - came to Virginia in the 1730s; brothers were John and Walter). I have tried to e-mail the authors of these threads but the listed e-mail addresses do not appear to be active. I am a descendant of this branch of the Rands and am looking for information on the English ancestors of this William Rand - if anyone knows of any resources (internet links, books, or otherwise) containing this kind of information, please respond to this message.
