Thank you very much for responding to my inquiry about wether or not Charles Rand was a member of the world famous Rand family fortune---International Compnay, etc.
Your data will be printed out and aded to my files and passed on to certain people who may follow up on it. If that is done I will let you know.
I was especially touched about the fact that such careful steps have ben taken to preserve and protect the Medal of Honor as a precious family heirloom. I would suggest that arrangments be made with a professional photographer and that the MOH be copied with close up photography---then it can be shared with members of the family and the world while still remaining safe in that vault---just a suggestion---you could even share pics with a local or state historical society----Question: do you have a photo or can you find a photo of this recipient---that would be useful also----thanks for everything Ron Tarburton
