Looking for information about recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor---Charles F, Rand
Born and raised Batavia, NY---Civil War soldier---12th NY Infantry.
Believ he may be kin of NY Rand family that later established Rand Corporation---now multi-billion dollar computer/software company and defense contractor.
Established by Rand family in upstate NY.
Looking for any family info and perhaps photo that I can find Ron Tarburton Region 2 Director Family and Friends of the Congressional Medal of Honor
