While looking up french-acadian I was able to find names of descendants of Pierre Gagnon. Jean Gagnon married Genevieve Chamard on Nov. 5,1715 had a daughter by the name of Elisabeth Barbe Gagnon who married Joseph Rancourt on Nov. 21, l746. But no where is the name of Rancourt listed in the French-Acadian descendants history, Why is that? Can anyone tell me why.
