Two Robert Ramsey's in Early Augusta County, VA, sometimes confused

I posted this on the Beard Family Genealogy Forum, but thought I should re-post it here. If any researchers have detailed knowledge of these two Robert Ramsey's perhaps they could add to this post. I'd like to know the children of each of these Robert Ramsey's, just in case some researchers have mixed them up....

Found the following on Rootsweb detailing the possibility of two different Robert Ramsey's with comparable ages that apparently have some researchers confusing them as one. It appears more research needs to be done to completely untangle them:

I have two Robert Ramseys in Augusta County, VA - one in the Cow Pasture settlement and one in the Beverley Manor settlement of Augusta County, VA. The following represents only the Augusta County, VA records.
Hopefully this data will match up with other Ramsey family histories.

Robert Ramsey of the Great River of Cow Pasture

Robert Ramsey married Isabella (---?---), who became Robert's widow in Augusta County, VA in 1759. Isabella Ramsey married 2nd to Robert Hall before 21 Nov 1759, which date Isabella Hall qualified as the admx. of her late husband, Robert Ramsey. Robert Ramsey served as a constable of Augusta County, VA in 1747, and was appointed a justice of Augusta County in 1751. His death occurred in early 1759, (note added: this was undoubtedly the Robert Ramsey that was killed by Shawnee Indians in October, 1759) the year Isabella qualified as admx of his estate on the 21st of November as Isabella Hall. There was a "balance due" to Robert Ramsey's orphans, but they were not named.

Robert and Isabella Hall removed to Orange County, NC, where Robert Hall and Isabella of Orange County, NC conveyed Augusta County, VA land on 14 Feb 1772 to Joseph Gwinn. Most likely this was their Cow Pasture land.
Robert Hall and Isabella also conveyed 150 acres on Stewarts Mill Creek, Augusta County, VA, to Andrew Donnaly. Most likely this land had been purchased by Robert Hall as an investment for speculation purposes.

I do have the maiden name of Isabella or the names of her and Robert Ramsey's children.

Robert Ramsey of Beverley Manor

Robert Ramsey of Beverley Manor, Augusta County, VA married Margaret Beard. They settled in the Beverley Manor by 1742; and removed to Anson County, NC before 18 Aug 1762, which date Robert Ramsey and Margaret of Anson County, NC conveyed to James Henry 340 acres in Beverley Manor,
adjacent to Samuel Huston, Robert Alexander, Patrick Hays and William Purris. Robert Ramsey's mother may have been Sarah Ramsey, who was widowed by 1753, the year she conveyed 309 acres adjacent to Robert
Ramsey in Beverley Manor to John Fulton. Sarah Ramsey was an early settler in the Beverley Manor, and her land deed there was recorded in Orange County, VA in 1742. Augusta County, VA was not organized until 1745. There is also the question of whether Robert Ramsey was a brother
of Capt John Ramsey of Beverley Manor. John Ramsey was also in Beverley Manor by 1742 and died in Augusta County, VA in 1783. His wife, Mary, died in 1786.

Robert Ramsey's wife was Margaret Beard, the daughter of Thomas Beard, who left his will in Augusta County, VA 15 May 1769, providing a gift to Robert Ramsey and his children - "testator's grandchildren."
Margaret Ramsey was not named in her father's will, inferring her death prior to May 1769. Robert Ramsey was one of the first elders of the Waxhaw Presbyterian Church, located near the mouth of the Waxhaw Creek, a tributary of the Catawba River. Robert and Margaret Ramsey's settlement in the Waxhaws was located in the far, southern end of the
original Anson County, NC. The Waxhaw settlement land was taken into Mecklenburg County, NC in 1763, and later a portion fell into Union County, NC and a portion became apart of South Carolina .
