I have been doing a lot of research lately and I am convinced that my Ramsden Family is also from Ovenden, Halifax, Yorkshire.

The family was in the Milling and Brewery business. They were from Jumples which is a place (possibly a home) in Ovenden, Halifax.

I have worked with a lot of misleading information connecting the family to Huddersfield. This may be true, but a couple of generations earlier than I have currently traced (I've gotten to the early 1800's). I am planning a trip to Halifax in information about the family coming from November and will be doing research in the archives while there. Maybe I'll find some information that is helpful then.
